100% jiggle-free

No offense to Jaclyn, Drew, and all other Charlie’s Angels past and present, but we’re kind of totally over the whole jiggle thing. (Like, so over it that we were never really even on it the first place, this being three decades past 1976 and all.) Quite the contrary, we’re of the belief that good sports bras are a runner-girl’s best friend, and we know very well how hard it can be to find a product worthy of that BFF label. After many years of dealing with not-quite-right fit and disappointing performance, I’ve found a winner in Nike’s Determination Bra, a super-supportive pullover made with sweat-wicking Dri-FIT fabric.

But elsewhere on ThisNext, ladies are loving several sports-bra styles offered by the outdoor clothing and sportswear pioneers at Patagonia: Kristin Lee, for instance, calls Patagonia’s racerback, variable-density-knit Capilene Pull-On Sport Bra the “best jog bra ever,” while Erin Bayer loves Patagonia’s Capilene Mesh Sport Top. And Steph Davis Potter wears Patagonia’s Mesh Bra, since it’s “the lightest top for hot days, great under T-shirts, fast drying and CUTE!” (Capilene, by the way, is quick-wicking, provides natural odor control, and is made with 50 percent recycled polyester.) Anna, on the other hand, prefers the “comfy and effective” Patagonia Sport Top, featuring a contoured mesh back and a built-in liner with shelf bra.

For Rose at Hit The Ground Running one smart, bounce-minimizing choice is the Maia Bra by Moving Comfort: “[I]t is absolutely fabulous in fit, control and comfort!” says Rose of the underwire-equipped product. “This bra got high marks from Runner’s World a few issues back, too.”
Not just a devotee of Patagonia, Erin also rocks Cameo’s Moving Comfort Bra, a part-Coolmax designed to prevent chafing, dry quickly, and enhance breathability. (“Holds my small-ish breasts in such a way so they don’t feel so smallish anymore,” says triathlete Erin of the Cameo. “But they are comfortable and supported.”)

But of all the sports bras I’ve recently discovered in my travels around ThisNext and the blogosphere, the most covetable has got to be the Power Pouch Sports Bra recently tested by The Bride of Macenstein. Dubbing the Power Pouch, “one of my favorite iPod accessories we’ve ever tested,” The Bride calls the product “an extremely comfortable, durable, and supportive sports bra that any active, fashion conscience ‘Mac Chick’ should be proud to wear.” And here’s what’s so Mac-tastic about it: The Power Pouch contains three built-in compartments that can hold your keys, cash, cell phone, energy bars, and – yes – your beloved iPod. Our blogger reports:
“I was very surprised to find that not only did a 4th Generation iPod not look bulky or odd in the Power Pouch, I actually could not even feel its weight when running. This is a testament to the support the Power Pouch gives. It also means the iPod is not unnecessarily jostled about, something you want to avoid with the hard drive based iPods…The iPod’s high placement on the body and the chord management of the Power Pouch mean your arms are free to move as you please without fear of accidental headphone tangles, and my hands are now free to hold free-weights instead of my iPod.”

I loved your harkening to "Charlie's Angels" times. It made me recall and want to mention another famous bounger: beach jogger Bo Derek in "10!"
