I personally don’t pay attention to billboards when am driving, unless they really stand-out, like those American Apparel ones…. Anyway I came across these billboards that use the old ‘flick book animation trick.’ They feature individual images, each containing a picture depicting life from childhood all through the important stages: including marriage and graduation. So when you drive fast, a fast moving clip is created, with the last two billboards stating ‘Don’t let your life flash before you’ and ‘slow down.’ An effective campaign? You decide. How about this cop cut out in Turkey. Where from a distance one sees a cop car behind a billboard and slows down, only to realize after passing it, that it’s actually a fake cop car cut-out.
