The 1970’s are back again. With the reemergence of fringed vests, long maxi dresses, crochet, and tie dye, this season’s bound to be full of relaxed fun and comfort. Whether you were there or not, (or remember it or not) everyone can get a taste of one very cool decade. This season’s 1970’s looks aren’t exact replicas of the original trends, but rather 1970’s inspired- which means tons of color (don’t worry, muted green and orange are not your only options) and tons of choices.

A 1970's Summer

Bohemian style is a perfect trend for the summer and the weather it brings, since it’s all about airy, breezy looks and loose fitting pieces. The look that for so long has been a quintessential theme at music festivals country-wide (think Coachella, Bonnaroo, etc.) has now infiltrated the streets. Lucky for us, the ground-grazing maxi dresses that are now being seen on celebrities and non-celebrities alike happen to be extremely comfy and versatile. And that’s all what this season’s 1970’s bohemian trend is about- taking it easy and going with the flow.
