Burberry Studs

Posted Monday, October 22, 2007 at 11:40PM

Is Burberry ditching their plaid signature look for studs? Who knows. Anyway, ladies for those of you who are still enjoying the outdoors, (beaches, and swimming pools…….) burberry has unleashed a grey bikini and a mini sundress based on their stud inspired collection. The Stud Trim Bikini (above) $350.00, is an anthracite triangle-shaped bikini with a stud embellished trim. The studs are located under the bust, and the waistband of the bottoms, giving the bikini a matching/detailed look.

The sundress is an anthracite bandeau mini-sundress with studs on the hemline $325.00. With a gathering into an empire line, the dress easily slips-on making it ideal for a bikini cover dress, and it would match perfectly with the Stud Trim Bikini. Other burberry pieces with the studs detail include: trench coats, shoes, umbrellas, hand bags/clutches…..more pics here>>

Mediacasting strategies can be an effective method to promote brand awareness. Keep in touch with your consumers or at the very least, keep yourself at the forefront of their minds. As a niche industry, mediacasting serves your targeted group of consumers and is also a great way to expand your “brand reach” even further.

By using the media channel of your choice, the way people consume entertainment and information will change especially with the release of the iPhone. The iPhone “brings it” as far as phones go. With features including video and music player as well as serving as a cell phone, Apple’s iPhone opens the door to mediacasting.

Mediacasting is basically broadcasting different types of media to a portable device like a cell phone. Types of media include video and audio formats as well as text and image formats. Using an RSS (really simple syndication) feed these types of media can be distributed to subscribers for just about any purpose you can think of.

A good start to getting your mediacasting strategy off the ground is to work on building your own niche audience. This is called your community and it is this group of people who represent the true audience of your business. You’ll need to get to know who they are. What do they like? What appeals to them? You’ll also need to interact with them and develop a great business-consumer relationship.

An effective mediacasting branding strategy is one that produces the long term audience results. Not only will you have an online presence but now, mediacasting makes your online presence portable and as a result, more convenient for your audience member. Unlike viral video where it takes creativity and a focused ability to draw attention to a specific memory or emotion of an experience, the objective of mediacasting is to form a long-term relationship with your consumer.

Mediacasting can also be an effective short term branding strategy, but if your audience is taking the time to subscribe to your feed, you might want to consider protecting that relationship a little more. Your audience will want to get fed content that benefits and is relatable to their needs. If they are bombarded by ads about your product or service, does that really help to grow and foster your relationship?

Creating an effective mediacasting strategy focuses on obtaining long-term results. This is where you can’t short-cut the process of relationship development with your audience. Build your mediacasting strategy today.
