Cashmere Mafia has been hyped up as the new “Sex and the City” — it’s about 4 women (some married, some single) living in New York.  These women are career women who struggle with being super successful in business while attempting to balance family/ love lives at the same time.  Just like in Sex and the City these women are dressed to impress and are also styled by Patricia Field, who was the costume designer for Sex and the City.  What I like about this show is unlike on Sex and the City, t the women on Cashmere Mafia can actually afford the clothes they wear.  I am still not sold on the fashions in general but the show is only 2 episodes old so I will give it some time before I pass judgement.
