Color Me ThisNext
Posted Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at 02:18PMHow often do we determine our final decisions on a product based on it’s color? Whether it’s great packaging, a nostalgic memory, a design aesthetic or a downright obsession, color - and the colors we associate ourselves with - defines who we are as individuals and ultimately what we buy.
Not surprisingly, color tags are amply scattered throughout ThisNext. Here’s a fun, rainbow colored breakdown of some unique ThisNext home & interior product recommendations; all of which have been tagged with their respective colors.
Red:

>> iRobot Roomba Cleaning Robot in Red from Steven
>> Shiro Kuramata & Cappellini Revolving Cabinet from elanafrankel’s Top Products List
>> Newell Design Studio: Cola Drinks Table from Chris’ Market Scout list: “Besides its bracing Venetian red lacquer, this Newell Design table has one other strong decorative element: a grid of mother-of-pearl dots on the recessed top.” (his list actually features several great ‘red’ products!)

>> kellysue loves her insanely cute pink Tivoli Audio speakers
>> angiemckraig seems to love pink as much as red, and she recommends these beautiful Kate Spade dishes: “Pink is delicious and Kate Spade is brilliant.”
