Cruising for a Bronzing

“Heads turn to look at her when she walks down the street,” says Beauty Snob. “There’s just one problem. She’s addicted to tanning.”
Hmm? Pardon me - my porcelain skin just told me we’re not chatting about moi. Go on anyway, gorgeous, and tell me how -
“Yes, it’s February, so tans aren’t natural this time of year. Yet she shows up everyday looking like she just stepped off a plane from a month long vacation in Jamaica,” says Beauty Snob. “Up close her face has an orangish tint to it. It’s weird. And unnatural.”

“And all around gross. I beg you everybody, please, please avoid tanning beds. They’re gross and germ filled and have been proven to cause a certain type of cancer from just moderate tanning. No one is fooled when you show up in February darker than you were in July. They just whisper behind your back about how silly your fake n’ bake looks.”
I believe in La La Land they ask who gave you that S-E-X’y faux glow, because despite the orangey undertones, supposedly -

I prefer middle-of-the-night black eyeshadow, myself, but -
