David Scott Cosmetics

I love beauty, that’s no secret, so when I had the opportunity to test out the cosmetic line from David Scott I jumped at the chance. I really enjoyed David Scott Cosmetics because they looked good and they are made of good stuff.  His lipsticks are lead-free and most of his items are mineral based.  Those may sound like buzz words to some but you really can tell the difference.  David Scott Cosmetics go on smoother and stay on longer.

Liquid Foundation- Foundation is tough for me, I probably should wear it but I hate it because you can feel it. I usually go for a tinted moisturizer instead then top it off with a dusting of powder but when I heard that David Scott had a nice lightweight foundation I figured I would give it a whirl.

Its really sheer and you actually don’t need a lot to cover up the uglies. According to their sites
its loaded with moisture and that’s the secret to the awesome dewy completion.

Sinnamint Lipstick- When I applied David Scott’s lipstick I felt something different but I couldn’t put my finger on it. So I wiped it off and applied again ( I know I am loopy). First of all it went on super-smooth, it also felt a bit minty- hence the name Sinnamint. The color was rich but not over powering and it lasted for hours.

Something I couldn’t tell by simply applying is that David Scott’s lipstick is that unlike many lipsticks on the market, his lipstick is lead free. So you can feel good about what you put on your face and you can look good too.

Mineral Eyeshadow- When it comes to eyeshadow I have just a couple of requirements but sometimes they are just so hard to meet: great colors and easy application. I like eyeshadow shades to speak to me and say “Look at me, I am sure you have something in your closet to coordinate with me.” And for the application, there is nothing more annoying than a great color that doesn’t go on smoothly. David Scott cosmetics takes care of both with great colors like Fresh Kiwi and Blue Dazzle I was able to find a color palette that I couldn’t resist. As for the application, like butta! It went on sooooo smooth and stayed on. Seriously, I haven’t put on an eyeshadow that went on like this one. The color I have is called Purple Glow so I am definitely going to use this for a colored smokey eye.
