Ever participated in word-of-mouth marketing?

Posted Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at 03:08PM

We feel honored!  We’ve been contacted by a journalist writing a story for a major national publication who would like to interview people about their experiences with word-of-mouth or buzz marketing.

Anyone who has such experience - or has been the object of someone advocating a product under these circumstances - please contact: egolson1 at gmail.com, and she will contact you to arrange for a mutually agreeable time to talk. She’s looking to talk to people this week, if possible.

Thanks for your help ThisNext community!

Among the questions would be:

1. when you accept a free sample or product, do you feel an obligation to talk about it to friends, relatives or colleagues?
2. does that change the way you interact with them and, if so, how?
