Fresh Feature Tuesday - BlogIt!

thisnext's BlogIt feature
In case you haven’t noticed recently, our posts have been looking pretty sexy with sleek collages of product images. Are you wondering how we’re doing it? I’d love to say that our elite team of blog ninjas have all kinds of highly-trained skills, but that wouldn’t be entirely true. They most certainly are naturally talented, but the truth is, they are equipped with a secret weapon: ThisNext’s BlogIt tool.

Yes, ThisNext-ers, we’ve been keeping BlogIt to ourselves while our crack team of developers refined it, and now it’s all shiny and sparkly and ready for you to use! It’s the fastest, easiest, slickest way to post a product recommendation or a list to your blog. It automatically collects the images and makes each one into a clickable link back to the recommendation. It takes one click to BlogIt.

No joke, it takes one click.

All you have to do is go to the page you want to blog, then look for the little BlogIt icon blogit_icon2.jpg in the upper right hand corner and click it:

BlogIt list page

BlogIt will grab all the images from a list, or the image of a single product. If you already have your blog listed in your profile, it will be selected. Otherwise you can select another one, enter the url for a blog, or just get the html to paste it into your post yourself:

At this point, you can click to post, but you have the option to customize: you can set the width of the image, change the number of products, whether you want your stickers to show, and even the title and text in the post:

When you’ve made it all perfectly pretty for your taste, click it, and you’ll have a post with a gorgeous image:
