Gift Guide: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner at Tiffany's

Meet your girl’s real BFF: chic, polite, ladylike, classic, and -

 - sometimes pricey, though only because she knows her value.

Tiffany & Co. is a platinum reflection of your lady.

“I think this might be the ring,” says Political Poet about this Tiffany & Co. flexible band ring.

Ooh la love, truly?

“I mean, this might at least be the design for the ring. I love it. It’s so pretty. It’s so shiny. It’s flexible! It’s so beautiful!!!!”

And a good chunk of change. Take note, boys, like a boss lady, Tiffany doesn’t play down her value. Exhibit B? These stackable Tiffany “Celebration” rings. And C, grade G?  This Tiffany bubbles ring. “Baubles, bangles, bright shining beads… Or sapphires, platinum and diamonds,” says Kay Zee. “Tremendous! An entire bubbles series of necklaces, pendants, earrings, and rings made of diamonds and colored gem stones set in platinum.”

Gorgeous, and I love that its light design belies its heavy price tag.

But Ms. Tiff isn’t all unreasonableness. Check this Tiffany & Co. initial lock charm. Sterling silver, the pendant is easily personalized, and a pretty affordable $100. And Tiffany’s 1837™ pendant is sterling silver, and “absolutely gorgeous and quite reasonable at $150. A perfect gift!” say John_and_Rose.

You got it, doll. Just like Tiffany & Co. Frank Gehry Designs. I’m not much for Gehry’s blobitecture - why? That glaring blob of steel at the Disney Concert Hall will answer you next time you’re downtown - but I do dig the accessories and jewelry his licensing department he’s been slapping his name on / investing his genius in. “Almost architectural but pure sleek and tough, this bangle is an instant classic. I love jewelery with a strong look. This rest of Frank Gehry’s line is gorgeous as well,” says Davaguth Miller.

Seconds Groove Effect, “The designs are no doubt Gehry’s, but they still have the Tiffany & Co polished class of the past hundred and fifty years.”

Another successful collab has been Tfif and Elsa Peretti, as in these Elsa Peretti® teardrop earrings, or a pair of Tiffany & Co. Elsa Peretti® mini MESH earrings. “Sometime between Audrey playing Holly Golightly and my first adventure in NYC I fell in love with Tiffany & Co. Who can blame me?” asks Hope Robertson.

Not your K, love.

“Every item is classic and timeless,” says Hope Robertson. “Since I’m a gold-and-pearls kind of girl, I especially adore these beauties. As Tiffany says, “now you’re dressed.” ”

Want to more seriously invest in your girl? Go classic, a la a pair of Tiffany & Co. diamond stud earrings. Practically their own currency, figuratively (check the reaction at your holiday cocktail party) and literally (dollar’s going down, doll), “every girl deserves a pair of these,” says Holly Aguirre. “My pair is from my parents and I never leave home without them. Classic, always tasteful, never out of style,” and just plain -

” - goooooooooooorgeous!!! And goes with everything…. Timeless,” second John_and_Rose.

You said it.
