An interaction design and wearable technology company, CuteCircuit unveiled a shirt, “Hug Shirt” [back in 2005-2006] that enables you to hug your loved ones no matter where they maybe. The hug shirt features bluetooth technology with sensors and actuators, it then connects to a bluetooth java enabled cell phone with the hug me java software running. when you touch the red areas on your hug shirt, your cell phone receives the sensors data via bluetooth (hug pressure, skin temp, heartbeat rate, time you hug e.t.c.) and then sends it to the other person’s Java enabled cell phone, with the hug me software running, and he/she has to be wearing the hug shirt, to enjoy the hug. Get one for you grandma, and please explain to her what it does or she will go nuts……
