So read on as we get to know Ashley a tad bit more.

Can you write a haiku about you, your blog, or what you do? And/Or in one sentence describe yourself.

Hi! I am Ashley-
blogging for Breakfast at Saks,
and shopping too much!

What are the last five things you purchased and what is your next dream purchase?
A Vintage boho dress (nice and airy, perfect for summer), a vintage leather bomber jacket (a necessity in every closet), ridiculously high Nine West strappy wedges, which I have been wearing almost every day lately (they’re actually comfortable!), a pair of skinny jeans from Target (you can find great things at Target) and finally a Marc by Marc Jacobs plastic cuff (so campy and fun!)! My next dream purchase would probably be the perfect pair of wedge boots, like maybe some of the sold-out Acne Atacoma’s.

What is your favorite movie about shopping and why?
It would have to be Breakfast at Tiffany’s - the scene when Holly and Paul go to Tiffany’s and have the plastic ring engraved is my favorite!

What has been your favorite ThisNext discovery?
This gray Balenciaga leather jacket, posted by AGD, has to be one of the most beautiful jackets I’ve ever seen. I bet it’s as soft as butter too!

What do you do when you are not busy blogging?
Blogging does take up a lot of time! But when I’m not blogging I’m reading other fashion blogs and magazines, shopping, going out to eat (lately sushi is my food of choice), watching movies, hanging out at the beach, and enjoying summer!

Who is your all time favorite Designer (I know its hard to choose favorites) and who is your favorite style icon?!
This has to be the hardest question of them all! I have so many favorite designers, but if I have to choose just one I’ll go with Christophe Decarnin at Balmain. He has created such a frenzy the past few years with studs and sequins galore, and inspired so many knockoffs! I absolutely love the way his clothes fit the shape of a woman, and they really are works of art. My favorite style icon of all time is Audrey Hepburn, she exudes such elegance no matter what she is wearing. Current style icons include Mary-Kate Olsen, Kate Moss, and Alexa Chung.
