“Don’t lose it, locate it” is the motto for Loc8tor ~ i noticed this techy gadget for the absent minded while browsing via the discover tag to see what’s new. Vav’s recommendation was a bit vague, but being intrigued by the look of this gadget, went to the site to find out more!  Basically, you stick tiny (about paperclip sized) locators on various objects like keys, laptops, your favorite pants, etc… and then you can use the handheld device to start pinging your way around the house till you find them all. “Your own personal locator uses a unique combination of audio and visual cues to guide you to your lost item from up to an incredible 183 metres / 600 feet away!” It can even be set up to PROTECT your goods by setting up an invisible safety zone, such that if anyone tries to snag your goods an alarm will sound/vibrate immediately.
