Louis Vuitton does iphone covers

Yeah, like Louis Vuitton was going to just sit there knowing that every one (including rich celebrities) and their mothers are nuts over the iPhone and not make a super expensive case for it!

Louis Vuitton will be the first luxury brand to unveil their iPhone covers/ cases to the world.

Starting July 16, these high end cases will be available exclusively at Louis Vuitton’s Fifth Avenue flagship store in Manhattan.  Prices begin at $225 from the monogram canvas style to $1,120 for the alligator case (wait isn’t that more than the iPhone itself?).  The business types can also purchase the Epi and Taiga leather offering which include belt-attachment .

The cases will be available to the masses in October, that way people can be even more jealous of your fancy new phone.

Definitely looks gorgeous, but I am sure for something like an ipod case most people wouldnt spend quite that much, I love LV but come on....

Love Vuitton, love the iPhone, but regardless how much it costs, taking your phone in & out everytime you need to use it is very unpractical! Let's hope Vuitton comes up with a better option soon.

Get over it, it's an over rated 60s plastic sunglass' holder paahhleez at least put a bit of imagination into something if your going to "design it" . Imagine dragging the phone in and out every time you take a call, back to the drawing board girls and try and think "practical" not "LV" or your going nowhere.

Great stuff! However.... tried one today, wanting to buy... what do you think? My brand new iPhone 3G doesn't fit!!!!! it slides in, ut is impossible to get out.... so much for my flashy fashion cover....
