More APPLE for all day, every day

Posted Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at 07:46AM

Oh boy, oh boy.  The day we’ve all been waiting for has dawned.  Apple is going mobile with the iPhone, and TV is getting sexier with Apple TV.

While the iPhone isn’t out just yet, already ThisNexters are salivating excited about the possibilities of this sleek, multifunctional little cell phone which promises to “completely redefine what you can do on a mobile phone.”

JaHaute says the Apple iPhone is “sleek and cute. I’m so sorry for the other phone companies.”

And while asharfin loves the touch screens, “The more applications a gadget has, the more I get to touch the screen, which is why I LOVE THE NEW iPHONE!!” Kristopher Dukes is all about the style, “And here your K thought nothing more smartly spelled S-E-X for a boss lady than a very little black dress and skyscraper heels.”

Check out Engadget’s full report and fabulous pictures of Apple’s announcement with details on how the magic will work.

In the meantime, Alyson and I are pretty into Apple’s other announcement, AppleTV. According to Engadget (which is covering everything Mac right now),

Not just one, two or three but five computers can connect to the Apple TV box, making a true hub for all your PCs. You can watch content stored on your rig — movies, TV shows, photos, etc. — and you can also pull streaming vid directly off sites like…Apple.com! Plus, the box will even grab content from PCs outside of your house — finally, we can watch all the great swag that our rich friends can afford. Interested? You’ll be able to grab one immediately for $299.

Will the iPhone and AppleTV be the new revolution we’ve been waiting for? Only time will tell.
