Nights on the Beach

Posted Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 10:57AM

You know what Sunday was, right? No, not just Father’s Day. It was also the first day of summer, which seemed to have prompted the dying breathes of June gloom — a climatic detail I could do without. Most importantly though, the start of summer means the start of the Santa Monica Pier concert series on Thursday nights. Essentially what we’re talking about is thousands of people piling on the beach, next to the pier, hanging out and slamming cheap wine.

I was worried that some of you would be ill prepared. So, I made a little list of what you’ll need. The (not very) abridged version is: a blanket, cheap wine, layers and a glow-in-the dark frisbee…

The downtown area and the area against the water (near the aquarium) there is open nights. I don't know exactly how late they stay open though. Don't wander too far out of the area though.
I suggest Continental hotel in Acapulco. Right next to the beach. There's a bar in the pool You swim up to it sit down, drink, while your in the water. Its pretty cool actually. They have a huge pool that isn't like a rectangle or anything. You swim around through paths and there's tree's and there's even a waterslide. There's incredible shopping and its pretty cheap. Lots of fun places to got to.

A beach theme is not only a great way to create a fun and nurturing environment for your child, but it's also quite easy to do.

This place is a nonstop celebration. It is so much fun that before you know it, it could be you who ends up dancing on the table.
