Planned Parenthood
Posted Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 09:26AMYour girl named Kristopher’s hasn’t given her two cents — let alone a Benjamin of her time — to what she’d call a kid, if / (heavy assumption) when she pops one out. Nor have I debated crossing my digits for a first-born son or for a mini-me girl I could doll up.
My rare reflections on motherhood include:
1. Nine months of hauling that thing around?
2. Who totes a tot on a red eye? And if I had a kid, it’d be much more mignon, and def well behaved.
3. If I wasn’t rather mum about being a mum, I’d be a celebration of a woman happy to welcome another life into her world, sans sacrificing my own for it.
I. to the e., your K would playing Q&A with nannies, and investing in even more flapper frocks and modern mod shifts, versus rocking any made-for-maternity duds, no matter how designer.
LIke this Only Hearts gray smock. Simple, chic, and wearable outside that ¾ of a year beautiful, baby-making bloating, go on and gorgeously gift it to that mom-to-be May 13th.
You know.
The lady that’ll have to jot her baby’s birthday in her Blackberry to remember it.
