Last week while dog sitting a darling Shorkie (half Shih Tzu / half Yorkie) named Joey Ramone for a friend of mine, I fell madly in love. Yes, you can even dare to call it puppy love, just don’t tell my cat. Well, technically I was not in love with the “dog living” of hanging outside at 3am waiting for the dog to do his business but the lifestyle. I got to experience the friendly dog owners and their vicious dog park gossip, the cute waiter gets to bring your cute dog a bowl of ice cold water, and of course the cute guys stopping me to talk about the dog… that sort of lifestyle.

And I thought, if I ditched my darling Siamese kitty, Mocha and jumped on the dog band wagon- I’d like my pup live the high life indeed. For starters…. A Hermes dog leash because nothing says, I know how to walk a dog like a $550 leather leash. And besides if you do have to pick up poop, you might as well look luxe while you’re doing it.
