I prance in heels less for femme vanity in my legs and more out of a masculine hunger to stand as tall as possible.

Hate email only wrinkles my brow if it’s a sign of dropping readership—though numbers usually say it’s sign of the opposite.

I get all doe-eyed at Jay-Z’s chorus of “cash, money, hoes;” last Browning asked me “How do I love thee?” I closed her book in high school English class
