Shopcasting for Jewelry

Posted Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at 11:58AM

Though you’re more likely to find me swooning over beaded cocktail dresses, five-inch heels, and almost all things vintage mink, like any lady, I love sparkly rings and things.

So let’s take a stroll through all things tagged “jewelry” in our shopcast network.

I’m a nature lover - I adore unnaturally sleek wooden cuffs, raw crystal topping a band of gold, etc. Here are my fav sub-urban meets urbane picks:

» Cero Designs

» leaf pendant

» Cosa Fina Jewelry » raw collection

» Painted Flower Vintage Jewelry Ring

» Bonnin Designs - Sea Urchin Necklace

» Omondieu! flower rings

» peacock feather earrings

I also love jewelry with meaning.  Usually a diamond “K” has enough symbolism for me, but going a little deeper never hurt. Dig these…

» I Read Banned Books Bracelet

» Love & Pride - Let’s band together

» Danielle Maveal: acrylic “diamond” ring

» Jennifer Leitzes Gandhi Necklace

What’s that?  Now you feel inspired to make jewelry?  Can’t blame you, and I can help you:

» SoftFlex “Soft Touch” Beading Wire

» Anvil Large Horn

I’ll leave you to get your anvil on, doll.
