With everyone going green, solar energy is one of the options that people are using. Why not use it to charge your cell phone? Until now most solar panels are too bulky to be carried around, that’s why this one is ideal because it can be conveniently carried around as a key chain.

After 6-10 hours depending on the intensity of the sun rays, it obtains a full charge that gives your cell phone an extra 25 minutes worth of juice. That’s not much but to make that one last critical phone call, the ‘key-chain’ like solar charger is worth carrying around. If you are indoor or the weather is not favorable, you can plug it into an AC adapter for 3 hours to get a full charge.

If you travel a lot this gadget would come in handy, you might forget your charger or lose it while in transit. The charger is expected in Japan from Feb 9th.  (via)

Some very intresting ideas and comments. I came across this page whilst looking for cheaper energy prices http://cheaperenergy.wordpress.com My bills haven risen by 35% this year and am now facing yet another increase by these greedy energy companies. (Thankfully I only rent so don't have to worry about a mortgage as well.) Has anyone tried this green and cheap renewable energy? If so, be intrested to know how it worked for you.

The tmobile G1 has been unlocked, this will allow you to use a SIM card from any network, in any country. Hey guys FYI, T-mobile will unlock any phone for you for free if you are in good standing with the company, so don’t shell out the cash to get that iphone unlocked just call T-mobile.

Chargers charge your G1 device battery. Two types of chargers are wall chargers to plug into the wall and car chargers to plug into your car's cigarette lighter. Either way they are a necessity when you own a T-Mobile G1 device.
