I think it’s safe to say that Kanye West won the battle vs. 50 Cent on who sold the most albums yesterday. My money went to Kanye West,  I picked up his new CD “Graduation” as soon as my hot little hands got to my computer (go iTunes). I have only listened to it once and I already love it. So far my favorite songs are the two hits on the radio “Stronger” and “Can’t Tell me Nothing”. I am also in love with this completely random song called “Drunk and Hot Girls” featuring Mos Def.

Musically Kanye was the clear winner and as far as I am concerned, fashionably he whipped 50 Cent’s butt too. 50 Cent’s attire is so 5 years ago; baggy pants, baseball caps, tee shirts … what are we 15 years old? I prefer Kanye’s preppy/ luxury look with argyle sweaters, khakis, suits, and Louis Vuitton.

So how do you get Kanye’s look? It’s simple. The base is very standard preppy; Loose fitting khakis, tight polo shirt with a comfortable sweater on top. To avoid looking like a total Zach Morris (from Saved by the Bell) you need to add some hip-hop flavor. Right now Kanye is into wild sunglasses and luxury brand Louis Vuitton – with those touches you look like hip-hop royalty in no time.
