I don’t like celebrities much…. I don’t like celebrity designed lines… I don’t like celebrity scents… I don’t want to smell what someone who makes millions of dollars thinks I should smell like… So one day while trolling the isles of my local department store, I stopped at the fragrance and had a whiff of Gwen’s L L.A.M.B. Fragrance. And I adore it because it’s not too sweet and not too musky…. perfectly balance for a day into night delicate scent.
They claim that this truly smells like Gwen, I highly doubt that though her choice picks within the scent are dead on. It features fresh green notes, water hyacinth, white freesia, fresh pair, violet leaves, jasmine petals, rose, muget, sweet pea, orange blossom, heliotrope flower, sensual musk, frangipani, and peach skin. Whatever the hell that all means, the combo smells all cheeky.
And while I adore the scent, I don’t adore the price tag. A 1.7 oz bottle is $55 and a 3.4 oz bottle is $70, and if you’re a non math genius such as myself you think, dang that’s a lot of money. Though for the true bargain hunter handing over an extra $15 for an extra 1.7 oz is worth giving Ms. Stefani $70. Or maybe we’re just paying $70 to see Gwen pop out of her own perfume bottle?
