ThisNext designer of the week: WeWe Clothing

Picture%2019.pngWant to win a baby tunic? We like to offer equal opportunity shopping at ThisNext, which gives us the chance to find Designers of the Week from the worlds of womenswear, footwear, and even baby apparel. Take this week’s Designer of the Week WeWe Clothing, for example.
Wewe, pronounced (weh-weh) means “little ones” in West African Yoruba culture. Inspired by the Nigerian home of her youth, WeWe designer Folake Huntoon has attempted to create a range of ethnic clothing for her own children that will fill a void she has found in the marketplace. Much of the materials that go into WeWe collections are imported from Nigeria, which complements Huntoon’s own West Africa-informed design sensibilities.

We’re currently giving away this Tolani Tunic in Lilac, pictured above. The top is a perfect introduction to WeWe, both unique and versatile, and easily incorporated in any kid’s wardrobe. Perfect for summer, the top is lightweight and breathable, and we want you to win it. Simply recommend your favorite children’s fashion and tag it “TN Fashion” for a chance to win.
