TN Talks: Phillipe Stark Louis Ghost Chair

Posted Friday, August 31, 2007 at 01:10PM

Ghost chair, sounds pretty creepy huh?  Well it’s actually not creepy it all, it’s quite cool and quite popular on ThisNext.  This chair by Philippe Starck is great to add a splash of see-through design to your home or even your patio, as it’s suitable for indoor and outdoor use.  The ghost chair is resistant to scratches and is weather proof.

Philippe Starck has reinvented the classis Louis XVI armchair by translating the lines and form of this old school chair into a single form of translucent molded poly carbonate.  The chair is fit to hold up someone as big as the king as this chair doesn’t have a single weak point.

Gee it’s no wonder so many ThisNexter’s love this chair.  Shall we count the ways?

How amazing are these chairs? So decadent looking with its classic shape but with that modern edge! I’ll take 6 of these, please!

this is one of my favorite chairs

Every man needs a throne and this one will make you the Sun King.

I would love to have a whole boudoir done up in clear plastic. Chair, dressing table, the works. I would never lose my tweezers again!

Did you know that these chairs are now available with your choice of four different images on printed the back? Child, Chinese checker, Bear or Mask?
Or, even better, if you're going to order 50 or more, you can have your own custom image printed on the chair!

Can't you see them with This Next Badges? Kewl.....

Does anyone know if this chair could be considered "green" / eco-friendly? Is it any percentage reclaimed / recycled material? Thanks in advance for the info.
