In the past weeks, ThisNext has made a small effort to get you pumped for the college football season. And in the spirit of friendly rivalry, I want to set my esteemed colleague in the right direction. He seems to believe that Leland Stanford Junior University will once again squeak out a fluke win over my dear Trojans. Let’s be fair friends, Stanford is a pretty darn good school, but their football team has near nothing on USC. This year the Trojans boast a great offense lead by Junior Quarterback Mark Sanchez. And you can’t forget Pete Carroll - one of the greatest college football coach of our time. This team is jam packed with talent and is sure to make a run for the National Championship. And with the first game of the season less than two days away, you are going to need to stock up on Trojan items for your gameday party. Whether it is a tailgate outside of the stadium in Virginia or a rowdy gathering in front of the TV, Trojan fans everywhere will be cheering Beat the Cavaliers! Which, I am sure, is something that me and my Stanford buddy can both get behind because when it is all said and done, both teams represent the Pac-10 Conference.
