I know this has nothing to do with the article but I was almost scammed by the Kevin Jones individual as well. He tried to use the same scam to buy a Tomy Sterilizer from me. Is there a place to go to report this individual? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I too have received almost verbatim emails giving me 2 credit card numbers and wanting me to run them for an order...with $4,000 in overnight UPS charges alone!
Good thing I was suspicious and did a search!

he emailed our company this morning and tried to get us too... after I gave him a quote I searched his phone number and found this blog... thanks for saving us a lot of grief and possibly a lot of money!

We were emailed on Friday after about 2 to 3 phone calls trying to get information on our products. The guy we were dealing with is John Amos. Watch out for this creep !!!!

I got an email this morning requesting a product shipment
to Eau Claire Wis by over night air. That rose my suspicion as Eau Claire is 30 minutes/ 30 miles from our offices. The customer address came up in msn hot mail
address but no corresponding names nor were the dentists named in the phone book. I replied by e-mail to a Frank Johson with product and retail pricing. Anyone can have that.
Watch out.

This same customer is trying this same scam with other companies - obviously it's fraud, no one using their own credit cards would post them on a public blog!
