Work It!

Tulip Ego Laptop

It’s a rare occasional that the word work is used in a desirable manner.  Sure work (especially hard work) typically brings forth good things.  If you workout you will be rewarded with a ripped body.  If you work hard in the office you can reap the benefits of a nice bonus to your salary.

The key in doing any sort of work is to make it more fun! And what is more fun than new office supplies? (Don’t answer that). The last time I got excited about office supplies was back when Trapper Keepers were hot and then I wasn’t even old enough to be in an office.

Great news, there is a new crop of  office supplies to get excited about it and leave it to the ThisNext users to find them.

Even the tiniest of paper can often use a good shredding; thanks to Aunt Beep’s recommendation- the Mini Paper Shredder  “little post-its containing CC numbers, passwords or other valuable info” can be protected.  Whew, thanks Aunt Beep! Of course you would NEVER shred a post-it that was praising your cool factor would you? Didn’t think so.

For paper of a larger scale try organizing it in the Russel and Hazel 3 ring binder, which according to npbradshaw are the “coolest looking binders, period. And they have dry-erase material on the inside so that you can jot down notes and erase them later. Genius.” Genius indeed, I’ll take that over a Trapper Keeper any day.

If paper isn’t quite your speed (paper is so 1992!) how about this Tulip Ego Laptop? “Just because you’re a techno-geek, doesn’t mean you can’t be chic” says cg2007Stylewriter warns against picking up the white model (but also offers a helpful solution) “Although the white model resembles a George Foreman Grill, you can buy interchangeable laptop skins to match every outfit!”

If those products don’t get you motivated to “Work It”. Check out these and other products on the ThisNext Office tag.

Thinking about buying a paper shredder to destroy sensitive documents in order to prevent identity theft? Do you already have a paper shredder in your home or office? There’s no doubt that paper shredders are mighty useful devices, but they warrant a big caution. If you have kids or pets, an article in the current edition of Pediatrics brings a frightening trend to light…
