Adidas Originals Denim For Male & Female by diesel
Posted Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 12:01PMAdidas have teamed up with Italian brand Diesel for the ‘Adidas Originals Denim for Male and Female by Diesel.’ The collabo which was launched separately ‘adidas Originals Denim for Male by Diesel’ & ‘adidas Originals Denim for Female by Diesel.’ The mens line is available in two styles for now; the Adi-Thanaz which is available in dirty denim treated, raw, and super black. The Adi-Viker is available in dark blue treated, dirty medium treated, and raw. This line of denim would be ideal for the ‘metrosexual mantanorexic man.’ (skinny jeans, tight tees, black eye liner, and black nail polish).
The womens line, just like the men features two styles: Adi-Matic which is available in super wash and raw, and the Adi-rohary which is in dirty and raw hues. The line is ideal for women without curves, (those who belong to my ‘Feed a model a burger’ campaign). Both lines incorporate logos from both companies: 3 stripes on the inseam and hips, and a “D”

Ripped Jeans
Posted Monday, July 17, 2006 at 05:25PMThose $300 jeans don’t just rip themselves.
Writes denim blog Denimology:
“The New York Times has an interesting article on an Italian company that specializes in ageing and distressing jeans on behalf of brands such as Levi’s, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana and Calvin Klein. The scale of the operation at Martelli Lavorazioni Tessili is vast - they employ 9,000 people to artificially age 120,000 pairs of jeans per day which in 2005 generated revenues of $140million.”

Dirty Denim...
Posted Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at 03:40PM
The hot jean a couple of years ago, way to save the world now, says the Style Salon:
“According to a study by France’s environment agency, your favorite jeans are not doing the environment any good. Over the period of a year, washing and tumble drying a pair of jeans uses up 240kWh of energy a year, equal to using 4,000 lightbulbs, 60 watts each, for an hour. So why not wash your jeans a little less often? They may smell a bit but you can comfort yourself with the fact that your are doing your bit for the planet.”
Sounds good to ThisNext: we love almost any reason to do less laundry thing to help make Mother Earth happy.

Posted Thursday, June 22, 2006 at 05:41AMThisNext exists because when you’re swimming through Google looking for products, it’s hard to see what’s the perfect digi cam for you, which bike you’ll have the most fun with, or
Which skinny jeans will make your legs the most Kate Moss-like.
