Marimekko Unikko Postcards

postcards.jpgIn a world where the immediacy of email and instant messaging makes correspondence involving any real effort seem a bit quaint and dated, putting some thought into a piece of snail mail can mean a lot. Penning an actual letter may be going a bit overboard for many of us, but simply dropping a postcard in the mail can go a long way. Because who doesn’t like getting a piece of mail from a friend?

This Marimekko Unikko Postcards set, featuring creations by Finish textile designer Maija Isola, collects 16 unique patterns in various styles. The patterns are versatile enough to give you a few options that feel appropriate with most any message they might carry. The reverse side of each card also features the Marimekko brand logo and a credit to the artist.

Print & Pattern is one beautiful blog.  Designer and trend forecaster Bowie Style fills each post with gorgeous, bright, mouthwatering imagery from prints and patterns which inspire her.

At ThisNext, we love finding a useful product which embodies the mindful, passionate inspirations of the consumer; like these mugs from franc franc which are equally loved over at Print & Pattern.
