VaVaVoom Vespa Desk Clock
Posted Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at 07:20AMWow. This is why home decor is such a pre-occupation. The search and discovery of that perfect thing, that little detail which quietly sits on the edge of a table, or hangs in a dark corner…isn’t it crazy that just a little thing can illicit so many memories, moods.
There is something really sexy about this 1946 Vespa clock. It’s a clock, I know. But something about it makes me all “hubba hubba” every time I see it.
I imagine it is a remnant of a long week I spent on the coast of Italy when I met ‘Antonio’ and we zipped around the hills on his Vespa…me, tanned and skinny with perfectly windblown blonde-streaked hair, and a flush in my cheeks…’Antonio’, all muscle under his white linen top; taking me to secret cafes with secret gardens off the beaten-track for champagne in the afternoon.

Digital Wooden Clock
Posted Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at 12:56PM
If you’re desperate to get your zen on, then you know that anything digital is so not Feng Shui.
Alas, it is in fact, a digital age we live in. Desk clocks in general are not know for their aesthetic properties and as Chip Chick says “A gadget that only does one task, how dull is that?”
As a gentle compromise between zen and necessity, this digital wooden clock is right on time.
