Luggage for the Fashion Forward...esp Ladies
Posted Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 07:41PMLadies, how about luggage that you can customize to match your outfit, style and surroundings. Jibo is a piece of luggage designed by Wu Jiao, the exterior can be changed to match your outfit.
From knitted fabrics, to leather, to texture…..and the list goes on. One thing I hope it does, is change colors. Jibo is also a functional piece, it features compartment boxes inside, for you to arrange and organize your belongings. For short trips where you need everything to be easily accessible, stack your stuff on top in the main unit. Its trolley enabled for portability.
The luggage looks futuristic, might be a concept or in production stage. If available I am not sure when or where. Anyway stay tuned for updates.

good baggage
Posted Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at 02:04PMAs far as air travel annoyances go, standing around the baggage claim and waiting to retrieve your luggage probably ranks within the top five. So being able to promptly I.D. your bag is key, and what better way to do so than choosing a luggage tag adorned with your favorite pop star’s pretty mug?

The fabulous Honorable Mention takes j-cards from old cassettes, seals them in vinyl, and - tada! - the funnest luggage tags ever are born. (And, of course, there’s a cutout on back to fill out all your vital info.)
You can pick from tapes like Madonna’s Like a Virgin, The Story of the Clash, and To The Extreme by Vanilla Ice. But for some reason I’m most fond of the tag fashioned from the cover of the Cocktail soundtrack. Just think: Now you can take Tom Cruise with you wherever you go. And that idea alone should definitely make any of your flying-related fears pale in comparison.

Happy Peppy Travel Luggage for Peppy Happy Kids
Posted Sunday, January 7, 2007 at 07:16AM
ThisNexter gretaguru has a lot of bright and shiny recommendations on ThisNext which always make me smile. However, her recent recommendation of Trunki’s Lightweight Wheeled Child Travel Luggage might be her most enthusiastic yet:
“How cool is this?? Your kid gets tired walking in the airport and you just have them sit down and pull them on their luggage!! It’s ingenious! It makes the airport fun! YAY for functional intelligent design!! Comes in different colors and is designed just for kids!”
!!!
In my experience, kids love to carry their own luggage when walking through an airport. Of course, that love lasts only a small, blissful amount of time - which is why the Trunki is so great. It’s lightweight, super bright and engaging and it functions aptly as a chair for the little tykes as well. Created by innovative British design company Magmatic (and those Brists certainly know a thing or two about travel), the Trunki can be ridden on, pulled along or carried by adults.
As with most kid stuff, I have to ask…when do we get one?
