Wow.  This is why home decor is such a pre-occupation.  The search and discovery of that perfect thing, that little detail which quietly sits on the edge of a table, or hangs in a dark corner…isn’t it crazy that just a little thing can illicit so many memories, moods.

There is something really sexy about this 1946 Vespa clock. It’s a clock, I know. But something about it makes me all “hubba hubba” every time I see it.

I imagine it is a remnant of a long week I spent on the coast of Italy when I met ‘Antonio’ and we zipped around the hills on his Vespa…me, tanned and skinny with perfectly windblown blonde-streaked hair, and a flush in my cheeks…’Antonio’, all muscle under his white linen top; taking me to secret cafes with secret gardens off the beaten-track for champagne in the afternoon.
